How do we introduce a digital strategy for a new supplement that contains a cutting edge ingredient that few have ever heard of?

Live Longer Labs (LiveLongerLabs.com) produces remarkable products with one powerful, mega-antioxidant: Carbon 60. All their products are Carbon 60 nanotechnology product. C60live was the first of their products to hit the market. 

When the client came to me to redesign the site, the marketing was aimed to every conceivable target audience. This was ineffective. The message was too complex. The user journey through the site was confusing.

I applied UX processes to define a digital strategy to help introduce C60live to the world.

UX STRATEGY

Problem

The site was trying to target too many diverse audiences. The makers of C60live wanted to address every disease this product helps. As a result, there was no order to the content, no definable path through the site, and no clear calls-to-actions.

 

Solution

A. Shift the message away from disorders and disease to wellness – benefit.

We clarified what the element Carbon 60 is and what benefits it provides. We also linked each ingredient in the supplements to research. This validates the product and supports the claims of the products.

B. Apply the UX Authority Principle

The Authority Principle quickly builds credibility when experts present research and real experiences to support product efficacy.

1. Simplified the message of the site to focus on the product’s strengths. Backed all claims and ingredients to published scientific research.
2. Targeted “knowledge” rather than diverse audiences
3. Rebuilt the navigation to ensure a simple user flow
4. Presented content that educates and empowers the user’s decision

– The new design focuses on simplicity and research.

When Clif High, Predictive Linguistics and AI expert, mentioned that Carbon 60 was part of his longevity strategy, the market exploded. Over 1 Million people follow Clif High on his blockchain and crytocurrency preditions. C60live and every online C60 distributor sold out.
